Our pre-school is a registered charity which is managed by a committee of parent volunteers. The parent management committee helps to develop pre-school policies, manage our finances and organise fundraising and social events. The committee is also responsible for the overall strategy and development of the pre-school, ensuring continuous improvement of our pre-school provision.
Everyone is welcome at our AGM, which is held at the beginning of the autumn term. This is when the committee is elected, and when we review the year and look at our plans for the future. The parent management committee meets regularly during the year – usually about every six weeks during term time. We’d love to hear from you at any time if you would like to get involved and join the committee. Getting involved is a great way to learn more about the pre-school and to get to know the staff and other parents. Our committee positions are varied and it could be a great way to use the skills you already have, develop new ones and add to your CV! You can get involved even if you only have a little time to spare. Why not come along with a friend? Meeting dates 2020 -21
Committee meetings are held once a term (6 per year) on Wednesday evenings, 8pm at our Crossways site. In addition we hold an AGM, when a committee is elected annually. All parents and carers are warmly invited to come along and get involved by offering any talents or experience you may have or even just a different perspective, the pre-school can not operate without you!
